Father, Forgive Them

We begin Lent by listening to Jesus’ first word from the cross — a word not of judgment, but of mercy. Even as he is suffering, Jesus prays for forgiveness for those who have caused his pain. This sermon invites us to reflect on our own need for forgiveness and the difficult, transformative call to forgive others. As we enter this season of repentance and renewal, we are reminded that grace always comes before change, and mercy is at the heart of God.
