I'm New

Welcome! We're glad you're here!

We know  visiting a new church is a big step, so let us tell you a little bit about us and what you can expect in person and online.  At Messiah, you will experience a warm, inclusive, and welcoming congregation, relevant preaching, live and inspiring music, and dynamic programming for all ages. We're a congregation that is grounded in worship, small groups, and service as ways to help us grow in love of God and our neighbor. We hope to meet you soon!

Worship at Messiah

Sunday 8:30 Traditional

Traditional Worship includes hymns past down through generations, meaningful prayers, and music by our Chancel Choir and Bell Choir. At any service, you can expect to hear excellent music, an inspiring message, and meet people from across generations.  Nursery, Kid Street & Middle School Sunday School are all available.

Sunday 10:30 Contemporary

Journey Worship is led by our worship  band and singers, with contemporary music and a more casual structure.   At any service, you can expect to hear excellent music, an inspiring message, and meet people from across generations. Nursery, Kid Street & Middle School Sunday School are available.

Online Worship

Worship Online by joining the live stream of either worship service. Miss the live stream? No problem! You can worship on demand anytime on our website or app.

What to Expect

Come as You are Attire

No need to get dressed up when you come to worship, unless you want to! At Messiah, you’ll see folks in a wide range of style: from jeans to suits, dresses to jerseys. God loves you as you are, and so do we!

Accessibility

Our goal is to be accessible for all people. This is why you'll find: our building is fully wheelchair accessible with ground level entries and sanctuary,  ADA restrooms on all levels, including an all-gender, ADA restroom with changing table on the main level.

Sunday Coffee Hour

Following each worship service, join us in the Gathering Space for complimentary coffee, tea, lemonade, and treats.  On the first Sunday of each month, we host intergenerational Sunday Funday activities between services.

What to Expect

Nursery

A nursery is available for infants and toddlers (birth through age 3), during Sunday morning worship. You can drop off your little one before or during worship, finding us in Kid Street Headquarters (downstairs). Of course, children are  always welcome to remain in the sanctuary. We offer room to wiggle and roam in the Gathering Space and an additional rocking chair in the chapel (located on the far side of the sanctuary).

Elementary Kids

KID Street (ages 3 through 5th grade)  is offered on Sundays during worship and Wednesday evenings. On Sundays, kids begin in worship and are dismissed mid-service. If you prefer to worship together, children are always welcome to remain in the sanctuary! We offer busy bags for children, too. Kid Street also meets Wednesday nights from 6:30-8p and includes a meal, lesson, and lots of fun!

Youth

Messiah Youth explore faith, scripture, life, and purpose together as we build relationships with each other and youth leaders. On Wednesday nights, Middle and High School Youth gather for dinner (served at 6:30p) and separate Youth Groups (from 7-8pm). On Sunday mornings, Middle Schoolers participate in Sunday School and High School Confirmands meet twice monthly.
