Easter & Holy Week at Messiah Church
Join us this Easter season as we journey together in faith, reflection, and celebration. From the joyful worship of Palm Sunday, the solemn reflection of Good Friday, and the triumphant celebration of Easter Sunday, to a special Easter Egg Hunt for the kids on Easter morning, there’s something for everyone. Come and experience the hope and renewal of Easter with our community — there's a place here for you!

Easter Worship
Sunday, April 20
8:45 & 10:30 am CT
Celebrate at two services, when we rejoice that He is alive! Join us at 8:45 am for a traditional Easter service complete with bells, brass, and the Hallelujah chorus OR at 10:30 am for a contemporary Easter service with our worship band – both with special music and the Easter message The Resurrection and the Life. In person, online live, or on demand later.
On Easter Sunday, families are invited to worship together. There is no KID Street or Middle School Sunday School. Nursery care is available for children 4 and under on the main level.

Easter Egg Hunt
Sunday, April 20
9:45 am
All kids are invited to a KID Street Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday between worship services. We'll gather in the atrium first (near the sanctuary doors), then the hunt begins at 9:45 am, followed by Easter crafts and activities in Heritage Hall. During both worship services, there will be a special message just for kids too, along with an Easter gift for every child who attends.
Holy Week Services

Palm Sunday
Sunday, April 13
8:45 & 10:30 am CT
Our Palm Processional Parade is back! All ages are invited to join us in our Palm Processional as we celebrate by waving palms and singing to re-enact Jesus’ triumphant arrival into Jerusalem! (To participate in person, please arrive 5 minutes early and gather in the atrium – the processional begins promptly at the start of worship. To participate from home, just wave your God-given palms!) We’ll end the service with the presentation of a life-sized cross as we prepare our hearts for His death and resurrection.
In person, online live at www.MessiahChurch.org/Live, or on demand later at www.MessiahChurch.org/OnDemand.

Easter Offering
Each year, Messiah Church selects two organizations to receive our special Easter Offering. Your 2025 Easter Offering is a gift to our Covenant Mission Partners: Bloom Early Learning & Child Care and Imara International.

Bloom Early Learning & Child Care is a non-profit early learning center located here at Messiah Church, with a special mission to make the highest quality childcare, programs, and curriculum accessible to the entire community. Your Easter Offering supports the Shirley Robinson Scholarship Fund, which provides tuition assistance for children of low-income families, allowing parents to work while their children receive otherwise unaffordable quality care. For more information on Bloom, visit www.bloomearlylearning.org.

Imara International is a US-based nonprofit working in Kenya to provide an opportunity for teenage mothers to earn a high school degree and learn marketable skills to support themselves and their children. Infants and children who are part of the Imara family are provided healthcare and early childhood education. Imara’s program is structured to teach life-sustaining skills that build strong families and communities while breaking the cycle of poverty. Your Easter Offering will provide funds to purchase a greenhouse to further expand the produce they raise, and to purchase a dwelling for their farm manager to live on site. For more information on Imara, visit www.imarainternational.org.
Give throughout the month of April, online (below) by selecting “Easter Offering,” or by mailing a check (indicate “Easter Offering” in the memo) to: Messiah Church, 17805 County Road 6, Plymouth, MN 55447. Our goal is to collect $15,000 for each of these organizations.
Gifts are distributed evenly, unless designated otherwise.
