The Kory Wawanaca Children’s Home is a home for abandoned and orphaned children, nestled deep within the Andes Mountains of Bolivia, South America. With its rural setting, this home provides a safe and healthy environment for its children, left otherwise on the streets.

Messiah Church helped to build this home through financial contributions and volunteers who have traveled to Bolivia.

ImageThe home provides educational strengthening through the community’s school, agricultural skills learned on our organic farm, spiritual growth gained through teaching and loving guidance. We invite you to be a part of this wonderful ministry through your prayers and support. It will be a blessing for you! Find out more about Kory Wawanaca at their website www.kwchildren.org.

ImageMessiah Church sponsored a 14-member mission team August 6-15; the team consisted of five youth and nine adults. Team members served in the following ways at Kory Wawanaca: prepared a field for an orchard which will be expanded soon, painted a bedroom, led craft activities for the children, played and sang with children, and tutored some with their homework. Funds raised by the team for this trip will support the ongoing construction of a second home near LaPaz. Photos of the team and children along with details of their time there can be found on the kwchildren website.
