Coping with a significant life change can be an extremely difficult time in anyone's life. In recognition of problems that can come from grief, a group of Christian churches have organized the West Suburban Grief Coalition of which Messiah is a sponsoring church.
This support group is a wonderful opportunity to hear professional speakers at no cost, to gain new friendships with individuals who are going through similar situations, to learn about the grief process and to better understand your personal reaction to your loss.
Individuals may join the group at any time. The Coalition meets every Thursday from 4-6 p.m. featuring a social gathering, guest speaker and discussion. Please contact the church for more information.
