The purpose of Messiah’s Faith Institute is to provide introduction and opportunity for those in our faith community to join others in small faith group settings, on a path of discipleship. A path of discipleship leads a Christian disciple to follow Jesus Christ and worship our Lord, study to understand the scriptures, serve others and tell others. Messiah’s Faith Institute provides steps to grow deeper as a disciple of Christ who will Love God, Love Each Other and Love the World.

Serving from the Heart—(4 weeks)
The apostle Paul did not want Christians to be “ignorant” about spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12:1). At Messiah, we don't either! That’s why we offer training that can help you begin the fascinating process of discovering how God has designed and equipped you for service. We will explore, encourage, reflect, and pray as we discover our gifts and talents for service. Beginning Sunday, October 31 at noon.

Alpha—Questions of Life, Nicky Gumbel, author. (Offered winter session)
What is the purpose of life? What happens when we die? Why did Jesus have to die? What relevance does the Bible have for our lives today? Alpha-Questions of Life is a sympathetic, fascinating, and immensely readable introduction to Jesus Christ—still the most attractive and captivating person possible to know. Nicky Gumbel’s intelligent, well researched, and informed approach ensures that the search for Truth fully engages our minds as well as our hearts.

Loving God—Encounters with God: Mark, Blackaby, author. (7 Weeks)
Encounters with God: Mark offers an explanation and interpretation of Mark’s Gospel as it focuses on Jesus’ power, ministry, miracles and teachings from the perspective of a young man who was deeply impacted by the message. With great passion, Mark repeatedly speaks of Jesus’ compassion, love, joy, anger, wonder, awe, grief, distress and sorrow.

Each session offers insights and discussion starters on experiencing our God-given potential, the link between forgiveness and healing, God’s provision for us, the sufficiency of Jesus Christ, dealing with opposition, facing life’s realities, and living an abundant life. Led by Diane Balagna. Beginning Tuesday, September 28, 7-8:30 p.m.

Sunday Morning Faith Group—End Times Prophecy and the Book of Revelation (12 weeks).
