Do you like to have fun, laugh and, on occasion, get a little crazy while at the same time exciting children about following Jesus? If so, then Children's Ministry is for you. We have lots of opportunities for all kinds of volunteers whether you have one hour or want to commit to being with kids every week. We even have a few jobs where there are no kids at all but you have the opportunity to do behind-the-scenes work that will bless the lives of children.
Whether you have one spare hour or 100, Messiah Heartland Children's Ministry needs your help.
Ministry opportunities include Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School prep work (preparing art projects and organizing curriculum), Messiah Kids/Pioneer Club helper, helping with mailings and busy bags, serving on the Children's Council, Vacation Bible Camp, Family Life activities (Easter Egg Hunt, Movie Nights), Puppet Ministry, Gingerbread Festival, Mother's Day Tea, Young Family/Early Childhood Ministry, Prayer Guardian, Children's Choir, Drama/Christmas Pageant and parent support and education opportunities.
