At Messiah we are proud of our children and are thrilled to be walking with them in their journey to follow Jesus. We want to touch the lives of children through a variety of engaging activities.
Children, ages five through fifth grade, begin in worship and then are dismissed during the service to Sunday School in the lower level. To learn more about Sunday School, contact Children's Ministry Director, Carol Erickson at

Children are also invited and encouraged to attend worship with their families. Both Sunday School and worship are important elements in the faith development of children. There are scheduled Sundays during holidays when there is no Sunday School. All children are encouraged to attend worship with their families on these Sundays. "Busy bags" with paper and crayons are provided for their use during services at the back of the Sanctuary.
Infant care through four-year olds is available in Room 292/293 to the left of the Sanctuary. The Atrium is also available as an infant soothing area. Our ushers can assist you.
Youth (grades six through twelve) attend Sunday School at both services during the school year.
